Downloading PhotoShop Elements 8!

In September my hubby, Brower Dad, bought me a Nikon D5000 for a combined Birthday/Christmas gift. I LOVE it! I've always said I don't have a creative bone in my body (my talented sister, Mandy, got all the artistic talent) but I think I've found my creative outlet. No, I can't paint, I can't draw anything more than a stick figure and I certainly can't do crafts, but through the technology of my Nikon, I can find something beautiful and capture the moment. Don't get me wrong, I have a long way to go. I'm still learning and I'll be the first to admit I still use a lot of the automatic settings but I've started to venture into the manual settings and I'm working my way through a very helpful book. Hopefully, by the time I complete the book, I'll feel comfortable enough to leave the automatic settings altogether. After reading a handful of blogs on photography (mainly those by other mothers), I found that Photoshop is a key tool to beautiful photography. I certainly can't justify the full blown Photoshop but I found Photoshop Elements on sale at Costco and made the investment. My tools at this point include the D5000, two lenses, a couple filters, Photoshop Elements 8 and a book I purchased on Barnes and Noble. Let's see where I can go with this...
